Your Role

As a Market Risk System Developer your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Maintaining & developing the IM Risk Platform based on MSCI BarraOne calculations.
  • Produce market risk figures Asset Liability Management, Risk-based Capital, Swiss Solvency Test, and Solvency II requirements
  • Programming new functionalities in the pre- and post-processing applications, i.e. loaders, shock, scenario and simulation definitions
  • Operating Market Risk System; calculating and simulating the risk figures including technical quality control of all inputs and results

Head of Compliance Management and Assurance 80-100% (m/f)

In this role you will further develop and support the implementation of the Compliance Value Chain. You will continuously enhance the Compliance Value Chain as well as support the implementation of the enhancements.   • Providing (independent) assurance regarding the adequacy (incl. regulatory compliance) and effectiveness of the Group’s Compliance assurance processes, hereby sup-porting the discharge of the Compliance function mandate at a Group level. This includes identifying, analyzing, tracking and reporting of interrelated risks based on e.g., compliance risk assessments, monitoring etc.
  • Building and maintaining group level Compliance oversight and reporting procedures and (technical) solutions allowing to maintain and document oversight of the function for the purpose of effective functional management, in line with available resources establish and maintain a portfolio of relevant operational developments and trends of relevance to Compliance
  • Preparing and delivering functional management reporting at group and potentially regional level as well as reporting to the Audit Committee, moving from the current process-focused Audit Committee reporting to one that is more content-focused and action-oriented
  • Ensuring coordination and alignment with other Group functions e.g., Risk Management and Audit, where relevant
  • Ensuring relevant Compliance documents (incl. client’s Compliance Program, client’s Compliance Charter) are continuously updated, maintained and disseminated in the organization
  • Present validation results to senior management and relevant commit-tees,

Requirements

  • Professional education (University level) in at Economics, Business Administration, Law or Risk Management
  • Operational Risk Management Compliance and Compliance Assurance experience is required
  • In-depth practical knowledge of Insurance business model and operations, Insurance products and Insurance regulations and regulatory developments
  • Strong knowledge of client’s business set-up, client’s global operating model and operations (point of clarification: advertised internally & externally - so for external candidates an advantage, but not essential)

As a Modelling Expert in the model risk management team, you will be primarily involved in the independent validation of our customer’s internal models.   • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications

  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
